The Campeggi histori palace, is situated in Via d'Azeglio, one of the most central streets of Bologna, very close to Piazza Maggiore, the very heart of the town.
The original owners in XIV century was the Campeggi Family, one of the most important family of Bologna in the Middle Age. They were the owners of the Castle of Campeggio close to Tuscany, and they have had meny bishops and senators in Bologna. The façade is very simple if compared to the palazzo Bevilacqua nearby always built by Campeggi that has been the Trento Council headquarter for a brief period.
In the Palazzo lived for about 10 years Augusto Murri, a very famous doctor and scientist. The apartment is at ground floor in the internal court of the Palazzo. From the entrance you get to a double bedroom - 2 separate beds that can become a double bed on request - a small and elegant living room with a single sofa bed; a kitchenette with fridge, 4 fires; a bathroom with shower. All the apartment has been recently restored an furnished with care and good taste.http://www.spinolaonline.it/BOLOGNA/bologna.htm »
