Ca. Malcanton is a fully restored Venetian palazzo in Santa Croce, the smallest of the city�s six sestiere. Guests coming to stay at Ca.Malcanton will find something different from a normal hotel but not exactly bed and breakfast either. You will be staying in a private palazzo which has been renovated to the highest standards where you will be looked after by a housekeeper who prepares breakfast and cleans your room.     

Ca.Malcanton is not a big palazzo - there are only five bedrooms so there will never be a crowd of people staying in the house. More often than not, when you are not out exploring Venice itself, you can relax with a drink or book or listen to music and enjoy the surroundings in relative privacy. Guests are most welcome and indeed encouraged to use the sitting room (salon) and garden which are particular attractions of the house. Satelite tv is also available in the sitting room for anyone wishing to see what�s happening in the outside world. There is a resident housekeeper to look after guests. In addition to breakfast daily, guests can request other meals by prior arrangement. The house is not a self catering establishment and is therefore not suitable for people wanting regular cooking facilities. Tea, coffee and other refreshments are available at all times (within reason). It should be pointed out that whilst families are very welcome the quantity of antiques, silk furnishings and other valuables do not make the house especially suitable for young children. BEDROOM DESCRIPTIONS Small Double. So called because the bed is an English double size (1.40m wide). Quiet room with silk covered walls. With private bathroom (jacuzzi), TV and separate wardrobe area. Views over the garden and canal. Large Double. Beautiful room with exposed painted beams, en-suite bathroom (jacuzzi). Silk covered walls, TV, hi-fi, cherry wood wardrobes. Views down canal. Small Twin Room With two single beds. Silk covered walls, TV. Separate dressing room with wardrobes and table, ensuite bathroom (jacuzzi). Mansarda Double. Large comfortable room with generous seating area and views down the canal. Private bathroom (with shower) across landing. Mansarda Twin. Bedroom with two single beds and small ensuite bathroom. Views over the garden and canal.
